US Grapples with Multiple Crises as Bomb Cyclone Brings Record Cold, ICE Protests Erupt, and Global Trade Tensions Rise

The trade tensions have been exacerbated by the revelation that a French tech firm, Capgemini, has signed a multimillion-dollar contract with ICE to help trace and expel migrants. The contract has sparked outrage in France, with lawmakers demanding an explanation. The contract includes provisions for "skip tracing," a technique for locating targeted people, with big bonuses if successful.
