TV and Media Deals Dominate the Week

The event, which will take place on the South Lawn, is expected to cost upwards of $60 million, but TKO president and COO Mark Shapiro believes it will be a "once-in-a-lifetime" earned media play.

While the financial risks are significant, Shapiro is confident that the event will pay off in the long run. "I think by the time we get done, all is said and done with the event, and with what we pay the fighters and the fan fest we're gonna have, that could move north," he said.

The event is set to take place on June 14th, and TKO is currently engaging corporate partners and others to help offset the costs.
